1. A composition for hard tissue repair comprising a monomer (A), a polymer (B), a polymerization initiator (C) and a contrast medium (X) having a volume mean particle diameter of 3 μm or more,
wherein the monomer (A) is a methyl methacrylate,
wherein the polymer (B) comprises:
a polymer powder (b1) having a specific surface area of 0.05 to 0.5 m2/g, and,
a polymer powder (b2) having a specific surface area of 0.51 to 1.2 m2/g and/or a polymer powder (b3) of particles having a specific surface area of 1.5 to 4.5 m2/g,
wherein the initiator (C) is a partially oxidized trialkylboron which contains ethanol but does not contain an aprotic solvent, and
wherein a volume mean particle diameter of all particles contained in the composition for hard tissue repair is 15 to 26 μm.
