1. A measurement system, comprising:
a catheter having a fluid lumen defined therethrough;
a fluid column having a pressure-transmitting column and a fluid within and which is disposed in the catheter and coupled to a gas delivery system;
a pressure interface disposed on the catheter, the pressure interface being in communication with the fluid column;
a pressure transducer coupled to the fluid column and configured to receive a pressure signal from the pressure interface via the fluid column;
a controller configured to receive the pressure signal from the pressure transducer and to control the gas delivery system to transmit pressure to the pressure interface via gas delivery in response to receiving the pressure signal;
a receptacle configured to receive a flow of urine from a subject through the fluid lumen; and
one or more sensors in communication with the controller, wherein the controller is configured to detect an electrical property of the urine via the one or more sensors and apply signal analysis and a predictive algorithm on the detected electrical property and is further configured to monitor a rate of the flow of urine and provide an alert when the rate is outside of a predetermined range.
