1. A surgical insertion device comprising:
(a) a base ring defining a base ring opening, the base ring coupled to a standard sealable sleeve device positioned through an incision of a patient to fluidically seal an insufflated body cavity of the patient;
(b) a first top ring defining a first top ring opening, the first top ring configured to be operably coupled to the base ring; and
(c) at least one first seal disposed between the base ring and the first top ring, the at least one first seal defining at least first and second seal openings,
(d) a second top ring defining a second top ring opening, the second top ring configured to be operably coupled to the first top ring; and
(e) at least one second seal disposed between the first top ring and the second top ring, the at least one second seal further defining the at least first and second seal openings,
wherein one or more of the at least one first seal and the at least one second seal comprises three seals, wherein the three seals comprise:
(i) a first seal element having a first slit defined therein;
(ii) a second seal element positioned adjacent to the first seal element, the second seal element having a second slit defined therein, the second slit being substantially perpendicular to the first slit; and
(iii) a third seal element positioned adjacent to the second seal element and opposite the first seal element, the third seal element having a first opening defined therein,
wherein the first, second, and third seal elements are disposed such that the first slit, second slit, and first opening are aligned to at least partially define the first seal opening,
wherein the second top ring opening, the first top ring opening, the base ring opening and the first and second seal openings are configured to receive a surgical device positioned therethrough, and
wherein the base ring, the first top ring, the second top ring, and the at least one first and second seals are configured to maintain a fluidic seal at the incision when the surgical device is positioned therethrough.
