1. A system comprising:
a plurality of self-contained instrument assemblies, each instrument assembly comprising an instrument guide member and an instrument disposed within the instrument guide member; and
a tissue treatment device configured to interchangeably receive and retain each of the plurality of self-contained instruments thereto by way of cooperative engagement between a first receiving member of a body of the device and a corresponding attachment member of an instrument assembly and coupling between a second receiving member of the body of the device and a portion of an instrument of the instrument assembly, the device comprising an actuator positioned within the body for linearly oscillating an instrument within an instrument guide member a fixed distance past an exposed end of the instrument guide member.
