1. A system comprising:
a plurality of silos located at a wellsite, each of the plurality of silos comprising a sensor to sense a proppant level of proppant stored therein; and
a proppant management system comprising:
a memory having computer-readable instructions stored therein; and
a processor that executes the computer-readable instructions to:
determine, based on sensor data received from the sensor of one or more of the plurality of silos, the proppant level within at least one of the plurality of silos;
determine an amount of proppant that is expected to become available at the wellsite to be added to the plurality of silos;
compute a total amount of available proppant based on the proppant level within the at least one of the plurality of silos and the amount of proppant that is expected to become available;
predict a total amount of needed proppant for a fracking operation;
compute an amount of additional proppant needed for completing the fracking operation based on the total amount of available proppant and the total amount of needed proppant;
automatically request a proppant carrier to send the amount of additional proppant from a supplier site to the wellsite; and
automatically select one or more of the plurality of silos to unload the amount of additional proppant into, wherein the automatic selection of the one or more of the plurality of silos is based upon the proppant level in each of the plurality of silos at the time of unloading the amount of additional proppant and at least one of a user preference parameter or historical data from a previous fracking operation.
