(a) a lipid moiety that is

wherein 1 custom character represents point of attachment of the fluorophore moiety;
wherein 2 custom character represents point of attachment of the photoactivable moiety; and
wherein the fluorophore and the photoactivable moiety are covalently attached to the lipid moiety.
