1. A method for a cellular router to control data flow by using a single I/O pin, the method comprising:
a. receiving a first message originated from a wireless communication module (WCM);
b. selecting, based on the first message, a subscriber identification module (SIM) interface;
c. configuring an input-output (I/O) pin to output for sending a second message;
d. sending the second message to a SIM connected to the SIM interface through the SIM interface;
e. configuring the I/O pin to input for receiving a third message; and
f. receiving the third message from the SIM through the SIM interface;
wherein:
the cellular router is configured to respond to the first message using cached information;
the cached information is cached without phrasing; and
the I/O pin is connected to a logic gate and the SIM interface.
