14 Claims

1. A method performed by a core network node in a wireless communication system, the method comprising:

receiving, from a radio access network node, a context resume request message including a fast Radio Resource Control release indication, wherein the fast radio resource control release indication informs the core network node that the radio access network node transmits a radio resource control release message to a wireless device before the core network node receives the context resume request message;

determining to stop computation of new security information for the wireless device based on the fast radio resource control release indication; and

transmitting a context resume response message to the radio access network node.
