1. A method of wireless communication, said method comprising:
receiving a signal stream;
detecting a signature sequence of the signal stream, wherein the signature sequence indicates a data transmission rate, a packet, and a packet type;
determining a data transmission rate for a wake-up signal based on the signature sequence, wherein the wake-up signal is operable to wake a radio;
resolving control information for the wake-up signal based on the data transmission rate; and
generating the wake-up signal operable to wake the radio based on the control information.
