1. A layup sheet, comprising:
a sublimation material layer comprising sublimation ink;
a paper-based carrier layer;
a laminate layer;
an adhesive layer; and
a backing layer;
wherein:
the paper-based carrier layer is disposed between the sublimation material layer and the laminate layer;
the laminate layer is disposed between the paper-based carrier layer and the adhesive layer;
the adhesive layer is disposed between the laminate layer and the backing layer;
the adhesive layer remains applied to the backing layer while releasably securing the laminate layer to the backing layer; and
the layup sheet is configured to enable transfer of the sublimation ink, by sublimation, from the layup sheet into a separate article.
