1. An apparatus for printing a three-dimensional object, the apparatus comprising:
a controller;
an ultraviolet (UV) light emitting diode (LED) energy source that emits energy having a peak wavelength between about 200 nm to about 405 nm and a narrow spectral width of less than or equal to 50 nm surrounding the peak wavelength;
a white-colored build material having an absorption peak that is greater than 100 nm outside of the peak wavelength of the UV LED energy source; and
a printhead that deposits a fusing agent onto the white-colored build material, the fusing agent having an absorption peak that is within the narrow spectral width of the peak wavelength of the UV LED energy source;
wherein the controller is programmed to:
cause the printhead to deposit the fusing agent onto a portion of the white-colored build material; and
cause the UV LED energy source to emit energy that heats the fusing agent deposited onto the portion of the white-colored build material, wherein heating the fusing agent causes the portion to solidify.
