1. A method of providing neuromodulation therapy to a patient via a medical-device system, the method comprising:
receiving information about emotional reaction of the patient to pain;
generating a plurality of signal metrics from the received information;
calculating a score indicative of patient emotional reaction to pain using the generated plurality of signal metrics; and
initiating or adjusting a neuromodulation therapy based at least in part on the calculated score.
