1. A method to operate an array of antennas the method comprising:
identifying multiple stations from uplink statistics of a plurality of uplinks;
determining, for the plurality of uplinks, an identified spatial state of the array of antennas for receiving the plurality of uplinks; and
changing a spatial state of the array of antennas for the plurality of uplinks to correspond to the identified spatial state.
