1. A method of driver/operator training comprising:
in a training system controlled by a computer, while the computer is presenting a simulation segment on one or more graphics displays that are interfaced to the computer to simulate a windshield of a target vehicle:
the computer reading data from input devices of the training system, the input devices comprising a gas pedal input device, a brake pedal input device, a transmission position detector, and a steering wheel rotation sensor;
analyzing the data in conjunction with a current state of the training system and the simulation segment to predict a potential future issue that includes a collision with an object within the simulation segment; and
at a time that the analyzing predicts the potential future issue, the computer displaying an informational message comprising text characters on one of the one or more graphics displays to warn a trainee of the potential future issue.
