1. An electronic device comprising:
a display;
a plurality of proximity sensors placed at a plurality of locations within the electronic device, wherein each of the plurality of proximity sensors is configured to capture at least one proximity parameter; and
a processor coupled to the display and each of the plurality of proximity sensors;
a memory communicatively coupled to the processor, wherein the memory stores processor instructions, which when executed by the processor, causes the processor to:
determine a value of the at least one proximity parameter captured by each of the plurality of proximity sensors;
compare, for each of the plurality of proximity sensors, the value determined for the associated at least one proximity parameter with a predefined threshold value;
identify at least one proximity sensor from the plurality of proximity sensors based on the comparing, wherein the value of the at least one proximity parameter for the at least one proximity sensor is greater than the predefined threshold value;
determine relative coordinates of each of the at least one proximity sensor with respect to the display; and
performing a predefined action within the electronic device based on the relative coordinates determined for each of the at least one proximity sensor.
