1. A system for managing a financial account in a low-cash mode, comprising:
a memory storing instructions;
one or more servers operated by a financial institution for providing access to customer information; and
one or more processors configured to execute the stored instructions to perform operations comprising:
provide for display, on a display of a mobile device, a first dashboard configuration comprising a first set of one or more graphical user interfaces, the first dashboard configuration having a first user interface for allowing a user to set at least one predetermined threshold amount, wherein the first user interface has a first toggle control that allows the user to select the at least one predetermined threshold based on options set by a financial institution, wherein the at least one predetermined threshold is dynamic and automatically determined and updated based on a set of customer information associated with the user;
disable and replace the first dashboard configuration with a second dashboard configuration once the user has selected the at least one predetermined threshold amount using the first toggle control;
provide for display, on the display of the mobile device, the second dashboard configuration comprising a second set of one or more user interfaces, the second dashboard configuration having a second user interface for allowing the user to set at least one default payment behavior when a first account is in a low-cash mode, wherein the second user interface has a second toggle control that allows the user to select the at least one default payment behavior;
disable and replace the second dashboard configuration with a third dashboard configuration once the user has selected the at least one default payment behavior using the second toggle control;
provide for display, on the display of the mobile device, the third dashboard configuration comprising a third set of one or more user interfaces, the third dashboard configuration having a non-low-cash mode selection and providing selectable controls associated with processing a plurality of transactions;
provide a limited subset of the selectable controls, wherein the subset includes presenting an option to prioritize a subset of pending transactions;
determine by the one or more servers that the first account is in the low-cash mode based on a first account balance and the at least one predetermined threshold amount when the predetermined threshold amount is higher than the account balance;
communicate, via the third dashboard configuration, a first notification to the user that the first account is determined to be in the low-cash mode when the account balance is lower than the predetermined threshold amount;
disable and replace the third dashboard configuration with a fourth dashboard configuration, the fourth dashboard configuration comprising a fourth set of one or more user interfaces different from the third dashboard configuration and having a low-cash mode selection option and providing a set of electronic transaction controls restricted to one or more account funding controls and one or more default payment controls for processing previously scheduled automatic payment while the account is in the low-cash mode, the low-cash mode selection option when selected being configured to facilitate removal of the account from the low-cash mode and replacement of the fourth dashboard configuration with the third dashboard configuration;
permit the customer to navigate within the fourth dashboard configuration for performing the set of electronic transaction controls associated with funding the account or managing payments scheduled prior to entering the low cash mode, wherein the fourth dashboard configuration is presented for a specific period of availability, wherein a period of availability includes an allotted amount of time for an option within the set of electronic transaction controls to be selected;
associate the first account with a second account;
initiate a transfer of funds, based on a transfer request, from the second account to the first account when the low-cash mode selection option is selected;
transmit, from the one or more servers for display via the fourth dashboard configuration, a second notification, of the transfer of funds from the second account to the first account;
determine by the one or more servers that the first account is no longer in the low-cash mode based on the first account balance and the at least one predetermined threshold amount when the account balance is higher than the predetermined threshold amount;
remove the financial account from the low-cash mode responsive to the determination that the first account is no longer in the low-cash mode by disabling the fourth dashboard configuration and replacing the fourth dashboard configuration with the third dashboard configuration; and
transmit, from the one or more servers for display via the third dashboard configuration, a third notification indicating the first account is no longer determined to be in the low-cash mode.
