1. A system comprising:
a receiver configured to couple to an antenna and configured to:
receive a radar signal based on a reflection of a transmitted set of chirps; and
determine a set of beat samples of the radar signal based on the transmitted set of chirps; and
a signal processor coupled to the receiver and configured to:
perform a range Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) on the set of beat samples to determine a set of range bin values for each chirp of the transmitted set of chirps;
for each group of corresponding range bin values of the sets of range bin values, each group of range bin values extending across the transmitted set of chirps:
determine an average value of the group; and
adjust each range bin value in the group based on the average value of the group to produce sets of adjusted range bin values; and
perform object detection for the radar signal based on the sets of adjusted range bin values.
