1. An additive manufacturing system, comprising:
at least one laser source;
a print bed;
a light valve array having at least three optically addressable light valves configured to direct differing images at the print bed;
optics to direct multiple beams derived from the at least one laser source onto the at least three optically addressable light valves; and
a rejected energy handling device comprising an electricity generator, the rejected energy handling device configured to remove heat from the at least one laser source by directing a coolant fluid from the at least one laser source to the electricity generator.
