11. A safety guide for an intraosseous device, the safety guide comprising:
a guide body having a first end having a first aperture and a second end having a second aperture, an internal surface defining a cavity connecting the first aperture to the second aperture,
wherein the first aperture, the second aperture, and the cavity are concentric,
wherein the second end has a surface that is substantially planar,
wherein a diameter of the first aperture is smaller than a diameter of the second aperture; and
a first chamber beginning at the first aperture and a second chamber beginning at the second aperture,
wherein the first chamber and the second chamber are separated by a locking feature,
wherein the locking feature continuously extends around an inner circumference of the internal surface,
wherein the locking feature is concentric with the first aperture and the second aperture, and
wherein the locking feature has an internal diameter that is approximately the same as an external diameter of a barrel of a syringe engaged to a base of the intraosseous device.
