1. An apparatus to secure a sounding signal, the apparatus comprising:
a cipher to generate a bit value based on a common key and random seed information, the random seed information including a seed value;
a frame generator to generate a sounding signal based on the bit value;
an interface to instruct radio architecture to transmit the sounding signal to a first device; and
a decipher to determine that a response to the sounding signal is from a second device different than the first device, the determination made using the random seed information.
