determining, from a first location determination signal over a communication network from a first mobile computing device of a player indicating a current location of the player, a first location of the player;
presenting, over the communication network on a first graphical user interface of a display of a given network computing device, information identifying a balance in a first account for the player, in which the first account is accessible by the player to place wagers associated with a first gaming operator that operates at the first location but not to place wagers associated with a second gaming operator;
receiving, over the communication network from the given network computing device, an indication based on an operation to the first graphical user interface that at least a portion of the balance is available for transfer to a second account for the player, in which the second account is accessible by the player to place wagers associated with the second gaming operator at a second location but not to place wagers associated with the first gaming operator, in which wagering is allowed at both the first location and the second location,
in which the first account and the second account are both linked to a linking account, to which money from each of the first and second accounts is transferrable and from which money is transferable to each of the first and second accounts;
in response to the indication that the at least the portion is available for transfer, storing information identifying that the at least the portion has been pre-permissioned for transfer;

determining whether the first amount of money is less than or equal to the at least the portion in response to receiving the request to transfer;
determining whether a current location of the player is the second location from a second location determination signal over the communication network from the first mobile computing device indicating a current location of the player at a time the wager is placed from the second account; and
automatically in response to determining that the first amount is less than or equal to the at least the portion and while the current location of the player continues to be determined as the second location from the second location determination signal,
transferring, the first amount of money from the first account to the linking account;
transferring the first amount of money from the linking account to the second account; and
causing, over the communication network, the first mobile computing device to operate in an operating state in which the first mobile computing device is operable by the player to place through the first mobile computing device wagers associated with the second gaming operator using money in the second account and not operable by the player to place through the first mobile computing device wagers using money in the first account.
