1. A method comprising:
determining whether an ambient light level is less than a first threshold value;
in accordance with a determination that the ambient light level is less than the first threshold value, detecting motion within a field of view of one or more sensors of an electronic device, the one or more sensors comprising at least one image sensor; and
in accordance with detecting motion:
receiving a first plurality of images captured by the at least one image sensor of the electronic device;
forming a composite image from two or more images of the first plurality of images; and
causing the composite image to be presented for display on a user device.
