1. A method comprising:
receiving metadata regarding at least one of a plurality of media content streams related to a media content item;
determining a content preference based on the metadata;
determining a distribution of the at least one of the plurality of media content streams based on the determined content preference and by determining, for each of the plurality of media content streams, a portion of a total running time of the media content item based on the determined content preference, wherein the portion is a weighted percentage of the total running time of the media content item, and wherein the total running time corresponds with 100%; and
generating for display a preferred media content stream including one or more portions of the at least one of the plurality of media content streams based on the distribution.
