1. A method performed by a wireless device in a wireless communication system, the method comprising:
generating a length-6 sequence having an 8 phase shift keying (PSK) symbol as each element of the sequence; and
generating a low peak to average power ratio (PAPR) sequence based on the length-6 sequence,
wherein the length-6 sequence is determined by ejφ(i)π/8,
wherein the i is an index of elements of the length-6 sequence,
wherein a value of the φ(i) includes values of (φ(0), φ(1), φ(2), φ(3), φ(4), φ(5)) based on a group number u related to the low PAPR sequence, and
wherein the values of (φ(0), φ(1), φ(2), φ(3), φ(4), φ(5)) include i) (−7, 3, 1, 5, −1, 3), ii) (−7, −5, −1, −7, −5, 5), iii) (−7, 1, −3, 3, 7, 5), and iv) (−7, 1, −3, 1, 5, 1).
