1. A medicine administration and tracking system, comprising:
a medicine delivery device configured to deliver a plurality of doses of medicine to a user over a plurality of days, the medicine delivery device including:
a sensor that measures a dose of the medicine dispensed from the medicine delivery device, wherein the medicine delivery device administers the dose of the medicine to the user to thereby cause the sensor to measure the dose of the medicine administered to the user by the medicine delivery device; and
a processor configured to generate dose information associated with the dose of the medicine dispensed from the medicine delivery device as measured by the sensor and to wirelessly transmit, for each dose of the plurality of doses, dose information indicative of a time of delivery of the dose; and
a computing device in communication with the medicine delivery device and configured to receive the dose information for each dose of the plurality of doses, the computing device including a data processing unit including a processor and a software application stored in a memory of the data processing unit and having instructions operable, when executed by the processor, to cause the computing device to:
retrieve, from a signal wirelessly transmitted from the medicine delivery device to the computing device, the dose information for all doses of the plurality of doses within a pre-determined period of days;
categorize each dose of the plurality of doses within the pre-determined period of days into one of a plurality of time blocks throughout a 24-hour timeframe;
determine, based on a time block of the plurality of time blocks having the least amount of doses categorized therein, a fasting period end time of the user; and
select a physiological parameter reading from a plurality of physiological parameter readings as a physiological parameter reading of interest based on a proximity of a time of the physiological parameter reading to the determined fasting period end time of the user, wherein the medicine delivery device is used to administer an adjusted dose of the medicine to the user.
