1. A system for delivering laser energy to an eye of a patient, the system comprising:
a microphone for capturing audio data;
a voice control module for receiving the captured audio data and generating voice command information based on the captured audio data by recognizing spoken language indicating whether current values for parameters should be incrementally increased or decreased;
a parameter regulation module for generating parameter information based on the voice command information; and
a control module for receiving the parameter information and setting parameters for the delivered laser energy based on the parameter information.
