1. A pixel circuit for driving a plurality of luminous elements with pulse width modulation (PWM) signals, the pixel circuit comprising:
a pixel memory configured to store image data of red, green, and blue; and
three sub-pixel drivers connected to luminous elements respectively, wherein the three sub-pixel drivers include first, second and third sub-pixel drivers, each sub-pixel driver including:
a PWM generation circuit configured to generate PWM signals based on bit values of the image data and a clock signal such that each of a plurality of a subframes included in the frame have a PWM signal according to each bit value, and
a control circuit configured to control a light-emission and non-emission of a respective luminous element in response to the PWM signals applied to each subframe,
wherein
the first sub-pixel driver is connected to and configured to drive two red luminous elements based on the image data of red stored in the pixel memory,
the second sub-pixel driver is connected to and configured to drive a green luminous element based on the image data of green stored in the pixel memory, and
the third sub-pixel driver is connected to and configured to drive a blue luminous element based on the image data of blue stored in the pixel memory.
