1. A system for controlling a charging of multiple electric vehicles at multiple electric vehicle charging stations within a microgrid, the multiple electric vehicle charging stations including a first electric vehicle charging station and a second electric vehicle charging station, the system comprising:
an application disposed in a memory device of the first electric vehicle charging station and storing instructions thereon that when executed by one or more processors on the first electric vehicle charging station, causes the one or more processors to send communications from the electric vehicle charging station to a cloud server and the microgrid, wherein the mobile device relays a charge transfer request from the first electric vehicle charging station to the cloud server;
wherein in response to a charging control signal being authorized, the charging control signal is received from the cloud server at the first electric vehicle charging station; and
wherein the first electric vehicle charging station and the second electric vehicle charging station determine their charging transfers within the microgrid in relation to each other after receiving the charging control signals.
