1. A system for preventing a negative balance, comprising:
a memory storing instructions;
a database, in electronic communication with the memory, configured to store information comprising:
account information associated with an account at an institution;
user information for a user associated with the account; and
a mobile device unique identifier for a mobile device associated with the user; and
at least one processor, in electronic communication with the database, configured to execute the instructions to perform operations comprising:
determining an account balance associated with the account;
associating a first mode of operation and a second mode of operation for the account, the first mode of operation being a separate and distinct mode of software operation than the second mode of operation, the first mode of operation involving functions that the at least one processor is unable to perform while in the second mode of operation;
determining, based on the account balance and the generated prediction, whether the account is in the second mode of operation;
determining, based on location services configured on the mobile device, geolocation information associated with the mobile device;
determining, based on the geolocation information, a user location;
determining, when the account is in the first mode of operation, whether at least one danger condition associated with a likelihood of entering the second mode of operation is present based on the user location;
in response to determining that the account will be in the second mode of operation based on the user location, disabling the first mode of operation and triggering the second mode of operation, wherein the processor permits the user to navigate only within a second mode dashboard configuration associated with the second mode of operation for performing a limited set of electronic operations associated with a set of electronic balance controls, and wherein the second mode of operation automatically provides a plurality of transaction controls consisting of:
locking a financial card associated with the account;
permitting processing of one or more checks; and
permitting processing of previously scheduled automatic payments;
transmitting, upon determining the account is in the second mode of operation, a first notification on the second mode dashboard configuration based on the mobile device unique identifier, that the account is within a range of entering the second mode of operation based on the user location;
receiving a request for a transfer of funds based on a transaction initiated through the financial card;
denying the request for the transfer of funds while the account is in the second mode of operation and the financial card is locked; and
transmitting to the user, via the second mode dashboard configuration, a second notification presenting a plurality of options to manage the account when the account is in the second mode dashboard configuration, wherein the plurality of options are configured to be presented for a specific period of availability, wherein the specific period of availability includes an allotted amount of time for an option to be selected on an interactive window by the user.
