1. A method comprising:
at a device having a display, one or more processors, and non-transitory memory;
obtaining an image;
selecting a processing spatial portion of the image including a first portion based on a predicted pose of the device and having a size corresponding to a size of the display and a second portion surrounding the first portion;
performing image processing on the processing spatial portion;
after performing image processing on the processing spatial portion, selecting a display spatial portion of the processing spatial portion based on a current pose of the device, wherein the display spatial portion has a size corresponding to the size of the display and includes part of the first portion and part of the second portion; and
displaying, on the display, the display spatial portion.
