1. An apparatus comprising:
a chip containing metal bodies capable of exciting localized surface plasmon resonance at a first surface of the chip; and
an analyzer that performs a scan of the first surface of the chip, in a state where the first surface is in contact with a sample that includes target substances, by guiding a laser travelling at least in a thickness direction of the chip and records scattered light, which has been enhanced at the first surface, in association with the scan,
wherein the analyzer includes an acquiring device that performs the scan along the thickness direction in a configuration of the first surface of the chip that varies in the thickness direction, and wherein conditions of adhesion of the target substances to be measured vary in the thickness direction of the first surface of the chip, and
wherein the scan is performed by moving a common spot focused with at least two laser beams to scan the configuration in the thickness direction on the first surface, and acquires the scattered light excited by the at least two laser beams.
