1. A method of installing a closed loop geoheat harvesting system, comprising:
obtaining data from a deployment location;
calculating heat flux in a model using a finite volume (3D) numerical calculation, wherein the model calculates the heat flux as a function of time at a wall of a casing of the closed loop geoheat harvesting system and/or the model further calculates heat flux from the formation into a mass flow of a working fluid in the closed loop geoheat harvesting system;
using the data in the model to determine one or more configuration and/or operational parameter for a closed loop geoheat system, wherein the model further uses determined or calculated thermal conductivity of a formation at the deployment location; and
constructing and assembling the closed loop geoheat system based on the configuration and/or operational parameters determined by the model.
