1. A process for regulating an operational position of a hydraulic fracturing, zipper manifold valve, the process comprising steps of:
receiving by a controller circuit condition-based information generated by a sensor, wherein the sensor is operatively coupled to equipment for generating the condition-based information, wherein the equipment is configured to facilitate or perform a hydraulic-fracturing operation;
processing the received condition-based information to determine if it is safe to change the operational position of the zipper manifold valve;
generating a command signal that regulates the operational position of the zipper manifold valve, wherein the command signal is configured to maintain or change the operational position of the zipper manifold valve; and
receiving the command signal by an actuator and based upon the command signal the actuator is configured to maintain or change the operational position of the zipper manifold valve,
wherein the condition-based information is fluid-based sensory information based upon a fluid pressure or a fluid flow rate detected by the sensor within one or more conduits that are in fluid communication with the zipper manifold valve and wherein it is safe to change the operational position of the zipper manifold valve if the fluid pressure or the fluid flow rate is below a predetermined threshold and wherein it is not safe to change the operational position of the zipper manifold valve if the fluid pressure or the fluid flow rate is at or above the predetermined threshold.
