1. An ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer resin composition comprising:
an ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer (X); and
a metal compound;
wherein the composition satisfies the following formula (1):
ΔA2=A2−A2,0>0  (1)
where:
A2 represents the second virial coefficient of the ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer resin composition as determined by static light scattering measurement using hexafluoroisopropanol as a solvent,
A2,0 represents the second virial coefficient of the ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer (X) in the ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer resin composition as determined in the same manner, and
ΔA2 represents a difference between the second virial coefficient A2 and the second virial coefficient A2.0.
