1. A method for crosslinking an emulsion comprising:
adding an acrylic emulsion to a vessel;
adding a (meth)acrylate crosslinker to the vessel;
incorporating the (meth)acrylate crosslinker into the acrylic emulsion to create a two-phase system including water and a phase including the (meth)acrylate crosslinker;
removing the water from the two-phase system to create a dried system including uncrosslinked crosslinkers; and
curing the dried system to create a final system including a film including crosslinked crosslinkers;
wherein the viscosity of the two-phase system is lower than the viscosity of the acrylic emulsion.
