1. A compound comprising a first ligand LA of Formula I:

OG Complex Work Unit Chemistry
wherein
C1 and C2 are joined to a structure of Formula II through the dashed lines indicated in Formula II:

OG Complex Work Unit Chemistry
C1, C2 and C3 are carbon atoms;
Y1 is selected from the group consisting of O, S, CR′R″, SiR′R″, BR′, and PR′;
Y2 is selected from the group consisting of O, S, CR′R″, SiR′R″, BR′, NR′, and PR′;
Y2 is connected to C2 and C3 is connected to C1, or Y2 is connected to C1 and C3 is connected to C2;
A is a 6-membered carbocyclic or heterocyclic ring;
RA or RB each independently represent mono to the maximum allowable substitution, or no substitution,
RA, RB, R′ and R″ are each independently a hydrogen or a substituent selected from the group consisting of deuterium, halogen, alkyl, cycloalkyl, heteroalkyl, heterocycloalkyl, boryl, arylalkyl, alkoxy, aryloxy, amino, silyl, germyl, alkenyl, cycloalkenyl, heteroalkenyl, alkynyl, aryl, heteroaryl, acyl, carboxylic acid, ether, ester, nitrile, isonitrile, sulfanyl, sulfinyl, sulfonyl, phosphino, selenyl, and combinations thereof,
LA is coordinated to Ir to form a 5-membered chelate ring;
Ir may be coordinated to other ligands;
LA may be joined with other ligands to comprise a tridentate, tetradentate, pentadentate, or hexadentate ligand; and
any two of RA, RB, R′ and R″ can be joined or fused to form a ring.
