1. A liquid fertilizer additive composition comprising a liquid nitrification inhibitor solution composition, wherein the liquid nitrification inhibitor solution composition comprises:
(a) one or more oligomers/polymers of adducts from the reaction of one or more aldehydes with one or more nitrogen containing heterocyclic nitrification inhibitors, wherein the one or more nitrogen containing heterocyclic nitrification inhibitors have one or more aldehyde reactive groups selected from the group consisting of a) primary amines, b) secondary amines, c) amides, d) thiols, e) hydroxyls and f) phenols, wherein the heterocyclic ring structure of the nitrogen containing heterocyclic nitrification inhibitors comprises two or more adjacent nitrogens;
wherein the one or more aldehydes are selected from the group consisting of: methanal, ethanal, propanal, butanal, pentanal, hexanal, methylethanal, methylpropanal, methylbutanal, phenylacetaldehyde, benzaldehyde, 2-propenal, 3-oxopropanoic, 2-methyl-3-oxopropanoic acid, 4-oxobutanoic acid, oxoacetic acid, 5-oxopentanoic acid, 6-oxohexanoic acid, 2-oxopropanal, cyclohexanal, furfural, methyl esters of 3-oxopropanoic, 2-methyl-3-oxopropanoic acid, 4-oxobutanoic acid, oxoacetic acid, 5-oxopentanoic acid and 6-oxohexanoic acid, ethandial, 1,3-propanedial, butanedial, pentanedial, phthalaldehyde and methanethial,
wherein the one or more nitrogen containing heterocyclic nitrification inhibitors that react with the one or more aldehydes to form the one or more oligomers/polymers adducts comprise one or more triazole structures selected from the group consisting of:
a) 1,2,3-triazole based structure:
i. 2H-1,2,3-triazole based structure
wherein A1=—H, —OH, —NH2, —SH, —CONH2 or —CONHCH3,
wherein A2=—H, —CH3, —CH2CH3, —NH2, —Cl, or —NHCH3,
wherein A2=—H, —CH3, —CH2CH3, —NH2, —Cl, or —NHCH3,
ii. 1H-1,2,3-triazole based structure
wherein A6=—H, —OH, —NH2, —SH, —CONH2 or —CONHCH3,
wherein A4=—H, —CH3, —CH2CH3, —NH2, —Cl, or —NHCH3,
wherein A5=—H, —CH3, —CH2CH3, —NH2, —Cl, or —NHCH3,
b) 1,2,4-triazole based structure
i. 4H-1,2,4-triazole based structure
wherein A8=—H, —OH, —SH, —CONH2 or —CONHCH3,
wherein A7=—H, —CH3, —CH2CH3, —NH2, —Cl, or —NHCH3,
wherein A9=—H, —CH3, —CH2CH3, —NH2, —Cl or —NHCH3,
ii. 3H-1,2,4-triazole based structure
wherein A10=—H, —NH2, —Cl, —OH, —SH, —CONH2 or —CONHCH3,
wherein A11=—H, —OH, —NH2-SH, —CH3, —CH2CH3, —NH2 or —NHCH3,
wherein A12=—H, —CH3, —CH2CH3, —NH2, —Cl, or —NHCH3; and
(b) a reaction medium, wherein the reaction medium comprises a non-aqueous polar, aprotic liquid (NAPAOL), wherein the NAPAOL comprises one or more members selected from the group consisting of:
i) dimethyl sulfoxide,
ii) dialkyl, diaryl, or alkylaryl sulfoxide(s) having the formula:
R9S(O)xR10
wherein R9 and R10 are each independently a C1-6 alkylene group, an aryl group, or C1-3alkylenearyl group or R and R10 together with the sulfur to which they are attached form a 4 to 8 membered ring wherein R9 and R10 together are a C1-6 alkylene group which optionally contains one or more atoms selected from the group consisting of O, S, Se, Te, N, and P in the ring and x is 1 or 2,
iii) one or more alkylene carbonates selected from the group consisting of ethylene carbonate, propylene carbonate and butylene carbonate iv) 1-Methyl-2-pyrrolidone, v) one or more phosphorous containing liquids selected from the group consisting of hexamethylphosphoramide and one or more trialkylphosphates selected from the structure:
wherein:
R22 is an alkyl radical —C1H3 to —C6H13
R23 is an alkyl radical —C1H3 to —C6H13
R24 is an alkyl radical —C1H3 to —C6H13,
vi) 1,2-dimethyloxyethane, vii) 2-methoxyethyl ether, and viii) cyclohexylpyrrolidone,
wherein the NAPAOL is the medium for the formation of the one or more oligomers/polymers adducts from the reaction of the one or more aldehydes with the one or more nitrogen containing heterocyclic nitrification inhibitors, and wherein a weight % of the one or more oligomers/polymers of adducts of the composition of the liquid fertilizer additive solution's comprises 10-70%.

8. A composition comprising:
a) one or more nitrogen sources selected from the group consisting of: i) urea, ii) urea formaldehyde reaction products, iii) ammonia, iv) urea formaldehyde and ammonia reaction products, v) ammonium nitrate, vi) ammonium sulfate, vii) manure viii) compost and ix) treated urea, and
the liquid fertilizer additive composition according to claim 1.
