1. A pharmaceutical composition comprising Fe2+-exchanged fluorinated synthetic smectite and synthetic semiconducting metal sulfide, wherein the Fe2+-exchanged fluorinated synthetic smectite comprises interlayer Fe2+, and when administered the interlayer Fe2+ is released from interlayer spaces of the Fe2+-exchanged fluorinated synthetic smectite.
