1. A protective housing for accommodating a transponder receivable in the protective housing in a medical device,
the protective housing comprising a longitudinal axis and at least two snap-in noses diagonally opposite to each other and formed so as to engage in notches within the medical device in an undercutting manner, and
the protective housing comprising recesses respectively opposite the snap-in noses.
