1. A method of controlling a blood pressure measurement device for estimating blood pressure, the method comprising:
measuring a photoplethysmogram (PPG) signal from an object;
extracting, from the PPG signal of the object, a first cardiac output (CO) feature and a first total peripheral vascular resistance (TPVR) feature during a first stable interval of the PPG signal, and a second CO feature and a second TPVR feature during a second stable interval of the PPG signal;
calculating a first CO-to-TPVR feature ratio representing a ratio between a first CO statistic value of the first CO feature and a first TPVR statistic value of the first TPVR feature extracted during the first stable interval of the PPG signal, and a second CO-to-TPVR feature ratio representing a ratio between a second CO statistic value of the second CO feature and a second TPVR statistic value of the second TPVR feature extracted during the second stable interval of the PPG, among a plurality of stable intervals of the PPG signal;
calculating an integrated combining coefficient based on the first CO-to-TPVR feature ratio and the second CO-to-TPVR feature ratio;
estimating the blood pressure of the object by combining the first CO feature, the first TPVR feature, the second CO feature, and the second TPVR feature based on the integrated combining coefficient;
displaying the estimated blood pressure at a first estimation time;
updating the integrated combining coefficient based on the second CO-to-TPVR feature ratio and a third CO-to-TPVR feature ratio representing a ratio between a third CO statistic value of a third CO feature and a third TPVR statistic value of a third TPVR feature extracted during a third stable interval of the PPG, among the plurality of stable intervals of the PPG signal; and
updating the estimated blood pressure by combining the second CO feature, the second TPVR feature, the third CO feature, and the first TPVR feature based on the updated integrated combining coefficient; and
displaying the updated blood pressure at a second estimation time.
