1. A warming system for warming a biological sample, the warming system comprising:
a sample holder with opposing first and second ends, the second end configured to support the biological sample;
a hollow holder holding the sample holder with the biological sample;
a well configured to contain therein a thawing solution;
a first translation stage attaching thereto the hollow holder and positioning the sample holder and the biological sample adjacent the well;
a sample extraction wand configured to extract the sample holder; and
a second translation stage removably attaching thereto the sample extraction wand and configured to selectively translate the sample extraction wand into the hollow holder and into contact with the sample holder to thereby push the sample holder out of the hollow holder and plunge the biological sample into the thawing solution contained in the well.
