8. A device, comprising:
one or more memories; and
one or more processors communicatively coupled to the one or more memories, configured to:
receive, from a plurality of image capture devices, a plurality of image streams that depict a scene;
determine, based on comparing movement characteristics associated with one or more objects depicted in each of the plurality of image streams, whether the one or more objects, associated with different image streams of the plurality of image streams, are the same object;
map, based on determining whether the one or more objects are the same object, a first object of the one or more objects, associated with a first image stream of the plurality of image streams, to a second object of the one or more objects, associated with a second image stream of the plurality of image streams;
determine, based on the mapping, for each of the plurality of image streams, respective image-based coordinates of a path associated with the one or more objects,
wherein the respective image-based coordinates are associated with a frame location of the one or more objects in one or more images of the plurality of image streams;
determine, based on the respective image-based coordinates and timestamps of the plurality of image streams, simulation coordinates associated with the path;
detect, based on the simulation coordinates, that the one or more objects are involved in a traffic event associated with the scene; and
perform, based on detecting that that the one or more objects are involved in the traffic event, an action.
