1. A computer-implemented method comprising:
rendering, by an issue tracking system (ITS), a user interface associated with an issue maintained by the ITS and including a plurality of user interface elements each representing a respective external service, one or more of the external services provided by a respective one of set of external service providers;
in response to a user selection of a particular user interface element of the plurality of user interface elements, determining, by the ITS, whether the issue is associated with a particular external service provider of the set of external service providers;
in accordance with a determination that the issue is associated with the particular external service provider, causing display of a graphical element providing a link to the particular external service provider; and
in accordance with a determination that the issue is not associated with the particular external service provider, rendering, within the ITS, a service selection graphical user interface that is operable to connect the ITS with one of the set of external service providers.
