1. A computer implemented method, comprising:
under control of one or more computing systems including one or more processors and configured with executable instructions,
collecting data with a plurality of input devices located in a materials handling facility, wherein:
at least one of the plurality of input devices is an imaging element, and
at least some of the data is a series of images captured by the imaging element;
determining for each of a plurality of users located in the materials handling facility and based at least in part on the data:
an item gaze time indicating a time duration that the user is gazing in a direction of an item, wherein the item gaze time for a first user of the plurality of users is determined at least in part by:
processing the series of images to determine a gaze direction of the first user between images of the series of images;
an item pick of the item indicating a pick of the item by the user from an inventory location;
an item place of the item indicating a place of the item by the user; and
an item in-transit time for the item indicating a time duration between the item pick and the item place;
determining, based at least in part on the item gaze time for each of the plurality of users, that an item gaze time trend for the item is decreasing;
determining, based at least in part on the item pick for each of the plurality of users, that an item pick volume trend is increasing;
determining, based at least in part on the item in-transit time for each of the plurality of users, that an item in-transit time trend is increasing;
determining, based at least in part on the determinations that the item gaze time trend is decreasing, that the item pick volume trend is increasing, and the item in-transit time trend is increasing, that a predicted item turnover for the item is increasing; and
in response to determining the predicted item turnover for the item is increasing, sending an instruction to increase a quantity of the item maintained in an inventory at the materials handling facility.
