1. A supported adsorbent comprising a porous substrate on and in which is infused an active adsorbent for CO2 selected from the group consisting of poly(allylamine), cross-linked poly(allylamine) with epichlorhydrin and guanidylated poly(allylamine), wherein the porous substrate is a macro- and mesoporous γ-alumina in monolithic shape.
