1. A connector for hingedly mounting a buttstock to a receiver of a rifle, the connector comprising:
a fixed hinge portion;
a receiver side of the fixed hinge portion;
an interface side of the fixed hinge portion;
a threaded protrusion integrally formed with the fixed hinge portion and extending from the receiver side of the fixed hinge portion;
a threaded ring sized in relative proportions to threadably interface with the threaded protrusion;
a buffer hole extending from the interface side, through the fixed hinge portion, and through the threaded protrusion;
wherein the threaded protrusion is sized in approximate proportions to be threadably received in the receiver of the rifle; and
wherein the threaded ring is configured to be threadably tightened about the threaded protrusion and against the receiver.
