1. An apparatus for preparing foamed cement for laboratory analysis comprising:
a first source of pressurized gas;
a cement reservoir cell configured to pressurize a cement slurry contained within the cement reservoir cell to a capture pressure selected to correspond to the conditions at a well site;
a foam capture cell;
a foam generator in the form of a tee and having a first leg in fluid flow communication with said source of pressurized gas, a second leg in fluid flow communication with said cement reservoir cell, and a third leg in fluid flow communication with said foam capture cell, wherein said foam capture cell is configured to receive a pressurized foamed cement from said foam generator and has a first cylinder; and wherein gas from said first source of pressurized gas is introduced into said foam generator through a choke; and
a second source of pressurized gas for providing an initial pressure to said first cylinder.
