1. A delivery system for a prosthetic device comprising:
a shaft assembly; and
a coupling structure disposed near a distal end of the shaft assembly and configured to be coupled to the prosthetic device, wherein the coupling structure self-expands from a compressed state to an expanded state via removal of compressive forces, wherein the coupling structure includes a base portion disposed near the distal end of the shaft assembly and at least one leg extending from the base portion in the compressed state, wherein the leg includes an end portion to be coupled to the prosthetic device, and wherein the coupling structure provides a controlled gradual expansion of the prosthetic device.
