1. A method for connecting an annuloplasty implant with a medical implant delivery and retrieval device, said method comprising:
retracting the annuloplasty implant towards a locking structure of the medical implant delivery and retrieval device with a retrieval element, wherein the retrieval element connects the annuloplasty implant with the medical implant delivery and retrieval device when the annuloplasty implant is disconnected from the medical implant delivery and retrieval device,
interlocking a complementary mating surface at an end portion of the annuloplasty implant with a locking structure of the medical implant delivery and retrieval device, wherein the complementary mating surface comprises a recess for locking movement of the annuloplasty implant, when received in the locking structure, in a longitudinal direction, wherein the medical implant delivery and retrieval device extends along the longitudinal direction,
wherein the complementary mating surface comprises a first locking surface aligned in a first radial direction (R) to lock rotational movement of the annuloplasty implant, when received in the locking structure, around the longitudinal direction, and
wherein the annuloplasty implant comprises an annuloplasty ring or helix.
