1. A scanner configured to scan an image of an original document and generate scan data representing the image of the original document, comprising:
a memory;
a user interface;
a communication interface; and
a controller,
wherein the controller is configured to perform:
storing, in the memory, at least one piece of destination information corresponding to a destination of the scan data;
associating a particular destination information among the at least one piece of destination information stored in the memory with a shortcut key provided to the user interface;
when the shortcut key is operated, transmitting the scan data as generated to a destination corresponding to the particular destination information associated with the shortcut key;
communicating with a server via the communication interface, the server being configured to store the at least one piece of destination information, update a destination information in response to instruction received from a terminal, and transmit the updated destination information to the scanner, and
receiving the updated destination information transmitted form the server;
comparing the received updated destination information and the at least one piece of destination information stored in the memory; and
determining whether particular destination information among the at least one piece of destination information stored in the memory is deleted based on a comparing result of the received updated destination information and the at least one piece of destination information stored in the memory;
determining whether a particular shortcut key is associated with the deleted destination information;
when the particular shortcut key is associated with the deleted destination information, determining whether the particular shortcut key associated with the deleted destination information is disabled; and
when it is determined that the particular shortcut key is not disabled, disabling the particular shortcut key.
